Wreckage will be released through Video on Demand on January 1st, 2012!

When a group of teenagers’ car breaks down, they head to a nearby junk yard to salvage car parts. Little do they know that an insane serial killer has escaped from prison and is lurking in the area. As the teens are stalked and hunted down one by one, what was an innocent trip turns into a bloody all out struggle for survival.

Directed by John Mallory Asher, this gore-packed horror thriller stars Emmy® Award Winner Aaron Paul (“Breaking Bad,” “Big Love,” The Last House on the Left), Scoot McNairy (Monsters, “Bones”) and Cameron Richardson (Calvin and the Chipmunks, “Harper’s Island”).

The musical icon Cyndi Lauper joins the cast of the film The Last Beat. Lauper will play Bebe Markham in the movie directed by Writer/Director Robert Saitzyk (Godspeed).

The movie tells the story of Jay Douglas, a rock star who goes to Paris in a search for a more artistic existence as a poet and writer. The original soundtrack will have influences of the 70′s ranging from Rock n Roll to French Pop.The film will start to be shooting in Paris later this year.

The cast includes Shawn Andrews (Fix, Dazed and Confused and City of Ghosts), french actress Virginie Ledoyen, (The Beach, directed by Danny Boyle), Cameron Richardson (Hard Breakers, Harper’s Island), and also Oscar nominated Seymour Cassel (Big Heart City and The Royal Tenenbaums).

I have finally some film news to report! One of Cameron’s upcoming films, “Hard Breakers”, seems to be closer to having a release date! There is a trailer and official website now online. The film has just been released in France this month and is still awaiting a release in American theaters.

Driven by a history of dating pitfalls and frustration with men, Alexis and her best friend Lindsay decide to turn the tables and devise a plan to lure unsuspecting men close enough to knock them out and drag them back to their lair in order to have their needs met. When an absent father and an obsessive ex-boyfriend force Alexis to confront her issues with men, the girls’ plan goes awry and Alexis falls head over heels in love with one of her male conquests. Lindsay, consumed by her darker nature, continues on the hunt alone, leading to her arrest. In the end, the girls reunite and recognize the strength of their friendship and that ultimately; their own feeling of self worth determines the nature of their relationships with men.

Hopefully, we’ll be seeing “Hard Breakers” in US cinemas in 2011!
